A deficiency of vitamins in your diet can be a real disaster if you’re looking to regrow your hair. Just think about the types of foods you eat for a second. Are they noteworthy for the vitamins that they contain?
This is something that you have to think about or else you’re running the risk of losing more and more hair.
Vitamin deficiency can lead to hair loss especially if you’re not targeting the ones that are totally necessary for your hair to grow. This can be done with just a change in your diet.
One of the most overlooked vitamins for hair growth that even I overlooked many times in my personal battles with alopecia is vitamin C. Most people don’t equate this particular vitamin to helping with the growth of your hair but it does.
What vitamin C does is provide strength to your blood vessels in the scalp. The more blood that can be carried to your follicles the better of you’ll be. It’s the nutrients in blood that makes your hair grow back. This is just one reason why you cannot slack upon the vitamins you’re putting into your body if you want to keep or grow more hair.
Another critical vitamin that gets looked over is biotin. I was reading an article about biotin on the web and it made a great interesting point. It stated that most people confuse biotin with being a vitamin that speeds up hair growth.
Come to find out that biotin will only aid in regrowing your hair if your body lacks it. And guess what, most people do not get a sufficient amount of this B-vitamin. So be sure you’re getting about 3,000 mcg of it daily. Head to your local vitamin or nutrition shop and ask for it.
